Twitter I’m back on my Twitter kick and have pretty much abandoned Facebook. I don’t get Facebook; there’s just way too much going on with that website. I try to tweet at least twice a day on weekdays, so if you feel like following me, you can find me on Twitter. I’d also love having more people to follow. Let me know if you’re on Twitter.

Worship Things have been going pretty well, except for a couple of people who decide not to show up for things at all. This is starting to wear on me. I feel as if all my time is spent nurturing people and no one ever does it for me. After every event, I say “Thank you!” and “Great job today!” But what do I get? Comments and critiques about what we should be doing differently. No one ever thanks me, and if I mention that, then it just sounds like I want praise and adoration, which isn’t the case either. Getting sick of this. We had a leadership meeting at church yesterday and I had expected to say many glowing things, but I had another no-show that morning and by the time I got to the meeting, was very disgruntled. I don’t even remember what I said, it was just vague unpleasantries about having to deal with people who don’t respect the time and energy I put into this. It’s a totally thankless job and the majority of the church takes me for granted.

I’ll be okay about this tomorrow. Just give me another 24 hours to stew about it.

Gaming Since quitting World of Warcraft, I’ve been into a couple of different online games (Lord of the Rings, EQ2). Tom just canceled our subscription to EQ2, and last night I got an email from Bob saying he resubbed. Figures! Since he’s back to playing, I’ll resub so we can hang out. Other than that I’ve been playing Titan Quest again (more on that later) and Ken got me into Free Realms, an online game geared toward kids that has a lot of fun puzzles and bright colors and teaches kids how to play online games — because it’s a Sony product and it’s molding the minds of children to be future purchasers of Sony games. A clever maneuver from evil gaming overlords. A game review on this is coming soon, hopefully this week. I need to gather my screenshots.
