Back to School: Slack Season Ends
Today, I return to school. My class schedule arrived in the mail, confirming my Interior Design 102 class with the teacher I had for the 101 class. I’m curious to know how this semester is going to turn out - I did end up with a high A in the previous class though, so hopefully I can do the same thing in this class. No word yet on whether or not Crazy will be taking the class, but I’ll let you know after I’ve been to school. The past month off of school has been really nice, and I took full advantage of the slackage. As if on cue, work is getting busy, my personal life is picking up momentum, and my gaming life is threatening to take over with a hectic schedule. At least I’m feeling motivated to write again, and having things to do at night other than sit around, staring at your spouse for an hour while you keep asking each other what you want to do that evening.
Monday nights, Jack Bauer is back! He’s back from China in a very unexciting return to the U.S., which is unfortunate because I was hoping he would rampage through China, righting wrongs - kicking butt, and taking names. Last night’s episode, which I won’t spoil for you if you haven’t yet watched it, was getting a bit ridiculous. In this season, the U.S. military generals are still very bad people who just want to destroy everyone else in the world, Mr. President is a waffling weenie who is being swayed by a short weasel of a man who really just wants to destroy every American’s Constitutional Rights, and CTU is trapped in the middle. A nuclear bomb has gone off, and now a soap opera-ish family drama is ensuing in the Bauer clan. Who knew Jack had family? And I still cannot believe he shot and killed… you know who. The good thing I can say about this season so far is that we have not heard a peep out of Audrey, Jack’s love interest. I hope her character was hit by a bus while Jack was in China.
